CARMEN PLANTEPHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Graduated from the Université de Montréal, Carmen has more than 20 years of experience in physiotherapy. During her years of practice, she has worked with a clientele suffering from various orthopedic and musculoskeletal problems and has followed numerous continuing formations, including the 5 parts of the McKenzie training (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy), the mobilization of upper and lower quadrant myofascial system and neuroproprioceptive taping. A former high-level volleyball athlete, she was part of the National Junior Team of Canada (1988), captain of the Quebec team at the Saskatoon Canada Games (1989), in addition to playing in the Carabins team of the Université de Montréal. Even today, Carmen continues to be involved in this sport by being a volunteer physiotherapist for volleyball athletes, including the men’s South Shore team at the 2016 Quebec Games.
